Beagle Propaganda Poster

A funny Beagle poster: a tricolor Beagle trots across the lawn with its nose to the ground and its tail up like a flag, following a trail of paw prints, in the style of a 1940s home-front propaganda poster.

The truth behind the poster

“Follow the Scent”
Beagles were bred to track hares by scent for hours, and once the nose finds a trail, the ears seem to switch off: that is why a Beagle that knows its name perfectly can ignore it on a walk. A long line instead of off-leash time, a secure fence and recall practice with very good treats keep the investigation safe.
