The truth behind the poster

“Nose: Finds tennis balls lost since 2019.”
Golden Retrievers were bred in the Scottish Highlands to bring back game from land and water, and they are still built to carry things and to please their people. That friendly nature is real: Goldens greet almost everyone as a friend, which makes them wonderful family dogs and poor guard dogs. Their double coat sheds all year, so daily brushing keeps the second dog off the couch.
